Don't let a few detour signs get in your way! The Real Racine Visitor Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Our friendly travel counselors are ready to help with directions and great ideas for your visit to Racine County and Wisconsin.
Real Racine has worked with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the I-94 North South Freeway Project to create an alternate route to the Real Racine Visitor Center, 14015 Washington Avenue (Highway 20) during the Highway 20 interchange reconstruction.
From the south (Chicago or Kenosha): Exit at Highway 11 (exit 335), proceed west (left turn) on Highway 11 to South Sylvania Drive and then north (right turn) to the west frontage road. Watch for the directional signs.
From the south (alternate if you miss Highway 11): Exit at Highway K (exit 323), proceed west (left turn) on Highway K approximately two block to the west frontage road. Remain on the frontage road to Highway 20. Turn west (right) on Highway 20 and go one-half block. Visitor Center will be on the left.

Please note that Highway 20 (east-west) will remain open to the Visitor Center throughout the project. There will be temporary, overnight closures of I-94 and Highway 20 at various times. The Highway 20 interchange ramp closures will be in effect until mid-summer. Always use caution when traveling through construction areas.
