Fishing in Racine

Inland Fishing

Racine County's inland lakes and rivers present many great spots for fishing action!

The Root River, which runs through parts of Racine,If you're looking for an immense amount of Salmon and Trout look no further than the Root River near the dam on HWY MM and HWY 38. Fish species that also run through the Root River include: Chinook, Coho, Steelhead and Brown trout.

Brown's Lake located near Burlington has ample bluegill, largemouth bass, Northern pike, walleye and yellow perch. At its maximum depth, Brown's Lake runs 50 feet deep and spans 396 square acres. The lake is accessible via four boat ramps. Launch fees apply.
